How I wish that Glenn Beck would apply his detail-seeking, truth-driven, question-asking investigation into this video and the issue of the Book of Abraham. I use to be an active member of the LDS church and I NEVER heard anything about this. I do not see how anyone can be aware of the problem of the Book of Abraham and continue to believe in Joseph Smith and his teachings.
  • I love this video, it shows many truths and some half truths, but then again; my question is: what is faith? Did God command Noah to build an Ark? Did God command Moses to part the red sea? I believe he did, did God call Joseph Smith to do a great work and translate ancient record, I am absolutely sure that God did call Joseph Smith to be His prophet in these last days. I know that the record of Abraham is accurate. And I am glad that there are so many of the saints searching for truth where ever it may be found. I believe the evidences that were given in the video are correct, I honestly don't know how it was all translated except that it was by the gift and power of God.

Now I do not understand how one non-mormon believing christian can say that they have absolute ground to stand on when they say that God created the Earth in six earth days; that is a load of crap. It was, however done through six periods. Now, for you to say that it is impossible for Christ to have risen from the dead, yet say it is possible to have an unlearned man translate an ancient text! Well, I think that you have a surprise coming. Jesus Christ did rise from the dead, and he has redeemed us from the fall, and Christ Jesus, or Jehovah, has also given Joseph Smith power to translate and bring about the Book of Abraham unto us, so that we can have the wonderful key elements of Christ's and God the Father's true character revealed to us. I can't be more amazed at the enabling power that God gives his children to understand Him better, and draw closer to him. And by the way, did not Jesus Christ say to his disciples "For he that is not against us is on our part!" Mark 9:38-40
