@thinking human...I don't know what you received, but according to the Bible, it wasn't the "priesthood."  Hebrews 7:24 makes it very clear that Jesus and no one else holds the Melchizedek priesthood.  The writer of Hebrews uses the Greek word "aparabatos" which has only one meaning:  "cannot be transferred to another." The KJV uses the word "unchangable."  In other words, the Melchizedek preisthood has NEVER nor WILL NEVER change from Christ to another person.

comments are moderated? I thought only I did such things :) moderated, really?
  • What a shame that intelligent people devote their life to waste time in refuting it from one and other. devote themselves to improving their lives and improve the world that lack well-done, so confused that humanity, as for the mistake you trying to prove that book is true and that book is false. if they serve humanity as did JESUS MASTER TEACHER.
Not Only Because He served basis dedicated to attack Others But Rather Proclaim the love and humility and Many Other values only to GOD That You Taught Us That We Develop All These gifts too, if Each of us His words put Into practice WAS Another World, a world full of love and peace to live. But we only dedicated attack and destroy Each Other. Too bad as this Humanity. Where are we going to stop.
    Be tolerant.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST OUR GOD, TO BE HIS DISCIPLES OF WORDS AND THEIR MAKERS.

Bill was never a mormon, and Bill never received the Gift of the Holy Ghost. He also never received the Priesthood of God. These two missed opportunities for Bill have helped me personally to know how it feels to give service to God and to get answers to prayers on a personal level. What I am saying is that you can't possibly know what the spiritual experiences are until you try them, try the experiment. Mormons are most definitely Christians who believe in Jesus Christ, the one who died on the cross and was resurrected, and the one who taught the Sermon on the Mount, filled with commandments, and Jesus said that if we love Him, we are to keep His commandments. He also taught that we are to be born again, of the water AND the Spirit and that is baptism and Holy Ghost. If you get both of those things happening to you, you are born again. Being born again according to Jesus' teachings, that is.

Not only are you prideful but also insulting God by saying that only Mormons are entitled to "how it feels to give service to God and to get answers to prayers on a personal level". FYI, I am Chinese and had been a member for more than 30 years. I praise and thank God for saving me from this false religion founded by the false prophet Joseph Smith. Most Mormons are good people but everyone of them has a responsibility to research about the truth of their church. It hurts me to witness how the false LDS doctrines have burdened its members and some of them have become depressed inside - that's why Utah has the highest rate of using anti-depressant in USA. In that sense, Mormonism damages people's lives and that's one of the reasons why its falsehood needs to be exposed.
